NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Athens, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that open, public regular meetings of the City Council of the City of Athens, Tennessee, will be held at the regular meeting place of said Council at the Athens City Hall at 815 North Jackson Street, Athens, Tennessee, commencing at the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month during the year 2023.
There will be considered at such meetings all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings of the City Council. Real-time, live access to the broadcast of the regular Council meetings is available on the City’s Facebook page @CityofAthensTN.
The Athens City Council Study Session will be held on the Monday of week prior to the City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the Athens City Hall Conference Room. There will be considered at such meetings all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings of the Athens City Council, however, no action will be taken. Audio recordings of the Study Sessions are available upon request.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Athens, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that open, public regular meetings of the Athens Municipal-Regional Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Athens, Tennessee, will be held at their regular meeting place at the Athens City Hall, 815 North Jackson Street in Athens, Tennessee, during the year 2023.
The Athens Municipal-Regional Planning Commission will meet on the first Monday of each month commencing at 12:00 noon except for the meetings scheduled for July and September 2023. Due to the holidays, these meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 5th and Tuesday, September 6th. The Athens Municipal-Regional Planning Commission Work Session will be held on the last Monday of each month at 12:00 noon except for the May and December 2023 meetings. Due to the holidays, these meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 31st and Tuesday, December 27th. There will be considered at such meetings all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings of the Athens Municipal-Regional Planning Commission; however, no action will be taken.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on the third Wednesday of each month commencing at 9:00 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Athens, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, public regular meetings of the Council Advisory Committee of the City of Athens, Tennessee, will be held in the Conference Room at the Athens City Hall, 815 North Jackson Street in Athens, Tennessee, commencing at 6:00 p.m. on January 24, April 18, July 18, and October 17 during the year 2023.
