Super Kids Take to the Hill

Hamilton Hacker Races for Athens!

Today was set aside for Super Kids in Akron. Hamilton Hacker represented not only the City of Athens but the entire state of TN as he was the only TN representative to make it to Akron. Hamilton raced fast but was eliminated in his first two heats. Hamilton said he had a lot of fun though. The heat index today was well over 100 and unfortunately the forecast is the same for tomorrow when Autumn and Cass take the hill. Here are some photos from today. Here are the camera crews in for the movie 25 Hill. I think they are hiding from Corbin Bernson.

Notice the TN flag flying right by the bridge. We happened to see this and thought it was ironic. First flag on the track. Does that mean we will win first tomorrow? Hope so.

Here is Corbin Bernson from the movie Major League and LA Law among others. All I said was hey did you see the TN flag was flying in the first position? It might look good in the film. Didn't mean to cause such a commotion Corbin.

If you don't think the director is intense just look at the lady who is trying to take his photo. I think he scared her. I know he scared me.

Bless his heart it looks like the same camera man. Could it be that is he only about 12?

Ok I was actually close enough to hear this conversation and was not shooting with a zoom lens. It went something like "This is what I want. I want you to do it my way" Answer was "yes sir"
