Front Loader Refuse Truck

The City of Athens will receive sealed bids at the Athens Municipal Building, Purchasing Department, located at 815 N. Jackson Street, Athens, TN 37303, until 2:30 p.m. ET, Tuesday February 21, 2012 at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Front Loader Refuse Truck as described in the attached Specifications.  (Note: Late bids will not be considered under any circumstances.  Bids will be accepted if the date/time stamped by the Purchasing Department is 2:30 p.m.; date/time stamps of 2:31 or later will be rejected.)

REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ATHENS, TENNESSEE DURING THE YEAR 2012

Notice is Hereby given to all residents of Athens, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that open, public regular meetings of the City Council of the City of Athens,Tennessee, will be held at the regular meeting place of said Council at the Municipal Building in Athens, Tennessee, commencing at the hour of 6:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month during the year 2012.

There will be considered at such meetings all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings of the City Council.

The Athens City Council Work Session will be held on the Monday of week prior to the City Council meeting at 5:45 PM at the Athens Municipal Building Training Room. There will be considered at such meetings all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings of the Athens City Council, however, no action will be taken.

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
