Softball Tournaments
Information about Hosting a Tournament at the Athens Regional
Park
Tournaments at the Athens Regional Park may
be requested at the Parks and Recreation Department by completing
a Softball Tournament Request Form and signing a contract.
Fees are as follows for a State/National Qualifier, Local
or Invitational Tournament: 1-10 Teams - $25.00 Per Team,
11 - 20 Teams - $20.00 Per Team, 21 and up - $15.00 Per
Team. Fees for State/National Championship Tournaments:
1 - 10 Teams - $20.00 Per Team, 11 - 20 Teams - $10.00 Per
Team, 21 and up - $5.00 Per Team. The meeting room is included
with State/National Championships at no charge. Maximum
of $600 fee per tournament. Use of field lights are $10.00
per hour/per field. A $100.00 deposit must be paid when
the contract is submitted. This deposit is non-refundable
and will be applied toward the total fees due. A one million
dollar ($1,000,000) general liability insurance policy with
the City of Athens being named as co-insured is required
and proof must be in the Department no later than two weeks
prior to the tournament.
