 Council
Member Hal Buttram was elected to a four year term on the Athens
City Council in November 2006.
Council Member Buttram currently serves as the
council's representative on the the McMinn County Economic Development
Authority and the McMinn Senior Citizens Board. He is also an ex officio member of the Recreation Advisory Board.
"Having
served my country as a member of the United States Navy and
the Athens area as a businessman I now look forward to serving
the citizens of Athens as a member of the Athens City Council."
